Power to ship of large French oil
company
In July our customer “Muelhan” raised to question to
Aggreko France if they could provide three 1250 KVA diesel
generators. The Aggreko sets were necessary to feed, among
others, 5 electric compressors. The generators ran in parallel
operation to feed through a 5000 ampere panel, 15 different smaller
distribution panels, beside the compressors.
The electrical power, but also the
compressed air was necessary to service and refurbish a large ship.
It all took place on a yard of Sobrena. Aggreko not only provided
the electrical power, but also supplied over 7000
meters cables and next to that Aggreko took care
of the fuel management.
This is a good example on how customers
can concentrate on their core business, whilst Aggreko takes care
of everything else.
